Jennifer A. Sabourin, Associate Attorney

Jennifer brings a breadth of personal and professional experience to her work with clients at Clancy & Associates, Ltd. As the parent of three children, one of whom has Down syndrome, Jennifer understands the unique needs of the families she represents and is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities navigate a complicated path. Jennifer represents clients in the areas of trust planning and transition.

Experience
Prior to joining Clancy & Associates, Ltd. in 2021, Jennifer worked for 11 years in public education to support students and families of individuals with disabilities as a special education administrator. She first taught special education before becoming a school administrator in 2016, where she worked in multiple school districts across the Chicagoland area. Her knowledge of educational systems and resources help her effectively advocate for students and families, and she collaborated with school districts to develop individualized solutions to meet each child’s needs. Jennifer is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Illinois Alliance of Administrators of Special Education and the Council for Exceptional Children.

In addition to her careers in public education and as an attorney, Jennifer is an adjunct faculty member at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she teaches Professional Identity Formation, a course for first-year law students exploring issues of diversity, inclusion, and implicit bias in the legal profession.

Jennifer is licensed to practice law in Illinois.
